Led by trainers with years of experience and featuring role-plays inspired by real cases, LCJP’s high-energy trainings provide all of the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to begin your journey as a restorative practitioner. LCJP’s emphasis on experiential learning empowers trainees to participate effectively in a restorative justice conference.

The skills and strategies that are foundational to Restorative Justice Practices will enrich your communication and ability to connect with others. LCJP is eager to teach people restorative skills that can be utilized within families, clubs, churches, sports teams, youth groups… really any relationship! Standard Trainings for LCJP Volunteers:

  • Restorative Practices Orientation (2 Hours)

  • Community Member Training (2 Hours)

  • Facilitator Training (16 Hours)

Additional Trainings*

  • Advanced Facilitator Trainings (One to Two 8-Hour Trainings Each Year)

  • How-to Practical Skills-building Series (3 Hours)

  • Facilitator Debrief Group (1.5 Hours)

  • Restorative Tools Series (2-3 Hours)

    • Rotating Topics Include: Restorative Conversations, Reflective Statements & Reframing, Connection Circles, Learning Restorative Justice Through Games, Cultural Responsiveness in Restorative Practices & More!

  • Mentoring & Coaching

    • LCJP Volunteers receive free ongoing mentoring and coaching as part of our continuing education requirements. Non-volunteers may contract LCJP for ongoing coaching and support.

*Free for Active Volunteers, Payment Required for Non-Volunteers
